I think this shapes up like Diaz vs Robbie Lawler from a few years back. Nobody thinks Diaz can hang in the stand up game, but in the end he will surprise you.

Daley gets sub'd very quickly in this one. Bank on it.

im sorry i think Diaz is the more technical fighter on the feet but he poses no fight ending threat whereas Daley most certainly does when he connects with his first clean hit Diaz will know it would be crazy to continue to stand and will take him down (which we know is pretty easy) and submit him... really the only way Diaz wins is by sub or UD...
Daley is just a freak on the feet when he lands... i couldnt look away from a gif of the Scott Smith KO looped for atleast 3 minutes.. gah he just needs to move out if the UK and train with world class wrestlers only for 2-3 months.. i see him similar to Bas (fighting style only minus the kicks but he is NO WHERE NEAR as classy and amazing as Bas) he is fine on the feet for his talent pool (idk if i would like GSP trading with him for more than setting up the take downs) so just improve your flaws...
and i dont even like Daley i just see so much physical talent in him.. but lacks mental strength... missing weight 6 times?!!? wtf its your job he needs to get his ass whooped on the feet(he obviously rationalizes it when he loses by grappling) by some mystery person for him to get things straight i think... im not sure if Diaz is the one to do it.. but i would love to see it happen

Daley definietly has the power, but while Diaz doesn't have very strong punching power, he does pepper the shit out of people. I say the fight starts off with Diaz doing his peppering, then he gets wacked pretty good a few times, then it goes to the ground and he gets the submission.

Those are his two huge actual knock outs against mid to low level strikers. So other than showing he can hit hard and put someone to sleep if they don't have the best chin and let them hit them square on the button yeah it's not that impressive. Anderson Silva v Belfort thats impressive, Shogun vs Machid 2 thats impressive Carlos Condit vs Dan Hardy thats impressive and the list goes on. I find it truly impressive in my opinion when a guy goes and knock out a striker and to do it without it being a somewhat lucky punch like say Paulo Thiago vs Kos that one two combo was the only sign he actually knew how to box at all. So thats me defending my opionion understand now?

and wholly fuck you guys are getting pretty fucking picky. Yeah im aware it wasn't a full out k.o but it was a fine showing of his striking pretty much putting away someone with world class striking. Like fuck I watched the fight how many of you have jump in and correct me for missing a t on my shitty keyboard I actually might have hit it but it just didn't work
