i like the idea, didnt have a problem with where it was though, but it will allow you to get more sleep the night of the event, even though after a huge, exciting event its hard to go to sleep that night.

Considering the numbers Bellator pulled I think MTV would have no problem with putting the show on an hour earlier.

Everyone seems to think that if it starts an hour earlier, it will end an hour earlier.

UFC has been putting all the prelim fights on facebook and then prelims on Spike or whatever too. They have the amount of fights to do it. Make it a 4 hour event instead of a 3 hour.

I am pretty sure that the amount of people watching prelims on facebook is a lot higher than they thought and making the PPV an hour longer and being able to watch everything in HD is even better.

I expect this would mean that the fights will be an extra 5 bucks within the next year if they make the entire event an hour longer.

I have no problems with fights going till 12 or 1230 at night EST, but I find it annoying when there are no televised prelims and there are zero fights until 9PM then worst case scenario, you only get to watch 5 fights and the whole event is done by 12:15....

If it means for more fights and less time between fights, then I am up for it.

I just hope that UFC events don't interfere with NHL playoffs or anything like that.

Yeah, your most likely right.

I was just pointing out the fact that one week after Bellator announces that they will avoid UFC shows by moving their events an hour earlier, the UFC announces that they think that it is a good idea to start their events an hour earlier.

I am not saying that the time switch for the UFC isn't a good idea, just that the timing of the UFC's announcement seems to be a little bit more than just a coincidence.

Zuffa will do anything to give other organizations a hard time.
