Nope. I don't think Silva could beat him right now let alone any of the others. It is MMA and all you need is to land 1 punch so anything could happen but I don't see it.

If people follow the full article, they'll see that Shogun was named #5. If Shogun strings a couple destructive victories, he could be talked about as a potential threat again, but not just after the destruction he received at the hands of Jones.

My list for the "Match-ups for Bones at LHW that he will have the most DIFFICULTY with and be the most interesting"

1. Lyoto Machida (Assuming he beats Randy and is back to the "Machida Era" ways)
2. Rampage (Assuming he dominates Matt Hammill. He has a helluva punch and Jones hasnt taken a clean shot to the chin yet. Rampage is a great fighter when he is focused and his head and heart is in the fight, not too mention decent takedown defense and alot of strength)
3. Thiago Silva (Takedown defense, powerful, strong, and he was huge against Brandon Vera. This is assuming he is going to show his face sometime in the near future. Although none of us have heard from him)
4. Phil Davis (Size, strength, and possibly an even better wrestler than Jon Jones. Let's wait and see how he does against Rogerio Nogueira first tho)
5. ANDERSON SILVA (toughest test for Jon Jones! IF Anderson ever moves up to LHW to take it. Keep in mind Jones needs to defend the belt 3 or 4 times for this to even be a possibility of being considered, which is why I have it as #5.)

feel free to disagree

Anderson, Machida, & Davis, though I'm not sure any could be favored against Jones right now.

I was merely stating most difficult and exciting, I dont see anyone overcoming that reach and size except Machida or Rampage with a punch. Phil Davis may pose a decent threat but I really would like to see how he does against Lil Nog first.

True. This shit should be discredited based on that fact alone.

I hate to say it but I honestly think Rashad has a good chance of beating him. Jones at times can be very wild and someone like Rashad can take advantage of that. A couple times in the Shogun fight Jones threw those wild spinning back elbows missed and shogun was able to grab his back, instead of taking him down Shogun tried for a weak leg lock. If he does that with Rashad I see Rashad taking him down we haven't seen Jones fight off his back so not sure how good he is from that position.

One of those wild strikes Jones likes to throw might be the end of him.
