Anderson would be scary for jones, but fight seems unlikely.

Machida, jones biggest threat at lhw. Keeps distance, very hard to hit and take down. problem is he would need to get past jones reach to even land his own shots.

Hw, cain, jds, overeem... would be great fights, hw is where jones belongs and those guys will have a better chance, overeem only gives up 1 1/2 inch reach to jones and is a top striker with ko power in his hands, kicks, knees, etc. he is used to fighting tall guys with long reach, but how would he handle jones' great takedowns.

Even guys like lesnar or carwin. we dont know how jones would fight guys with that much strength and very good wrestling. His striking is better than both of their's(not saying much) but would he be able to throw them around and get them down with ease, and what if they tried to take him down.

Jones might have pulled off one of the most impressive performances against a top notch opponent in mma history. It looks like he would be able to beat virtually everyone at lhw and below, with a few to lay a claim. But hw is where he will get his toughest fights. They would still have to deal with his reach, size, and athleticism but the gap wouldnt be as large compared to the lhw fighters.

What are you talking about, i know this is mma&anybody can be beaten but all we can do is guess or assess who we think would or could win fights. By your logic the thread would be 'guys that can beat jon jones' and then the thread would have to list every fighter in mma who fights at LHW. Jon jones has already proved he wont look past any oppenent as it is with all greg jackson fighters win or lose.

And when i said physical specimen, i don't bloody mean how ripped he is, christ think before you post. I mean somebody as fast, agile and strong as he is. ie a physical specimen, someone who can't be bullied physically. Sure anybody can beat Jones but until guys actually fight him all we can do is discuss who stands the best chance. Please think before you post next time.

Your correct in saying all we can do is guess and asess but that isn't exactly what you did. You ridiculously dubbed someone unbeatable and dimissed all the amazing talent in his div. So no shit, JJ won't look past anyone. But it seems you certainly will.

You compared him to Phil Davis who looks so much like JJ that he has said he actually gets mistaken for the champ from time to time. And he is "bloody ripped" so my bad if i misinterperted you.

agree, i picked machida over rashad, shogun over machida, and rashad over shogun. and guys like rampage could win or lose any of those fights. thats mma for you and especially the lhw division. But jones was so dominate and showed in his performance that he would beat everyone at lhw. These dumbasses better stop bringing up liddell. Him ko'in bablu or horn wasnt impressive and even a prime chuck would get killed at lhw now.

Yeah i ridiculously dubbed him unbeatable by saying i didnt give the 4 guys mentioned in an article much chance against him. Your clearly now just making up shit to suit your arguement. Everybody has a chance in a fight but in my opinion Jones has the better chance of winning those fights thats all we can say until he fights them. Who has the best chance of winning. At no point did i say he was unbeatable, you just made that up to suit yourself. Some guys are just not worth getting into an debate with as there is no reasoning with them, you seem the type.
