The purpose of the board is not to entice discussion. It's to entice knowledgeable, quality discussion. Anyone can have a site that thrives on useless bullshit controversy. Sherdog is great for that, BE and cagepotato aren't far behind them. We're not that site, we've never been that site. We're different, and we'll stay different as long as I'm an admin here.

For the record, I "didn't make up a rule." I consulted with the other admin, and we reached a quorum. If you don't like it, you're free to fuck off to one of the shit sites you love so much, hypocrite.

Nothing is serious to me. If I move shit, if I give infractions or warnings, if posters stay or go, I'm fine. I know what I'm doing and why I do it.

There seems to be plenty of other contenders, this forum has gone bat-shit crazy lately. The quality of posting has gone downhill big time (more trolls).

The forum goes through cycles of a lot of trolls to very few. I for one think, our mods do a great job. Mac, Don, RH, Ramma lamma ding dong, and now Doc, all do thier best to keep this place clean and try to educate some posters (while getting paid great ). Like in life, some get it and some dont. Trolls will be trolls!
