I'm in full support of women's MMA being given the backing to grow along traditional male MMA, but as a couple of guys have pointed out, it's almost impossible to really give WMMA a big push at the moment because every weight division/promotion is far too shallow.
I think that 5 years down the situation will be different, but right now, there simply aren't enough high level female fighters to sustain a competitive division in any promotion.
