it was a bad judges that let the dream win IMO.
Total Strikes
Sanchez - 51 of 202 strikes
Kampmann - 77 of 200 strikes
The Dream also attempted 15 TD and ONLY GOT ONE
The Dream got outstruck, all but ONE TD stuffed and busted up, sounds like a win for Kampmann to me I can see why the Dream dont want Kampmann agian look at my Sig pic Quote: |

| Is the dream saying I will fight you but only if I dont get a better one? LOL I mean I understand it but damn that is a win that most people are looking at as a very bad judges call, I would want to prove I won and I could do it again

Is the dream saying I will fight you but only if I dont get a better one? LOL | Kampmann lost himself the fight by backing up so much. Diego won by pushing the action and the judges didn't think that Kampmann's jabs did the damage that it showed.
Everyone agrees Diego got jacked, but he pushed the action and was going for the win. Kampmann fighting not to lose didn't win him the fight.
I want to see a rematch. I think Kampmann will be much better next time they meet....as long as he pushes Diego. He tried to counter too much...and you can't counter a guy when you yourself are getting jacked and your counter punches don't seem to affect your opponent.
Kampmann really fucked himself over in that third round. He was really gassed and took twice as many steps backward than forward.

there are few rematches between diego and kampann i'd like to see them take part in besides one against each other which does sound good...
how about kampann/condit? sanchez/fitch? sanchez/koscheck? with it being highly unlikely any of those rematches gets scheduled, might as well do an immediate rematch between sanchez/kampann, but i just dont see dana doing that. dana has went on record saying he felt diego won that fight so there ya go. sorry kampmann.

Kampmann really fucked himself over in that third round. He was really gassed and took twice as many steps backward than forward. | I disagree with that interpretation because Kampmann was effectively counter punching. Yes he was backing up, but that was to maintain a distance where he could light him up while Sanchez missed on almost everything. To see the effect of Kampmann's counter punching, all you have to do is look at Sanchez's face.
However, I will agree with you that if Kampmann was more aggressive, maybe taking Sanchez down and trying to punish him on the ground then he would have won easily. But an alternate view would be if he stuck to his gameplan and didn't let himself get lulled into a slugging match against a fence a few times he would have won easily as well.

He and Diego would be a fun fight. Or Sanchez and Condit if he's healed up in time.
As far as a rematch w/Kampmann I believe it would be even worse for Martin unless he finds some killer instinct between now and then. He needs to go for the kill when he has people in trouble. I kind of agree with diego saying that his punches can cut but aren't really KO power. Seems Martin came the closest to having his lights put out.
If Diego gets there in even better shape(shouldn't be too difficult) and makes it a brawl from the getgo , Martin is fuckd.

i love when diego's got beef with someone its always legit not just to hype something like here he has nothing to gain and likewise with his shit with koscheck. he even tried to fight him at a bar or some shit.
