| Aaron Rosa not impressed by Bobby Lashley, wants a shot in the UFC Aaron Rosa Not Impressed by Bobby Lashley, Wants UFC Shot | MMAWeekly.com Quote:
While Rosa is happy with the way he performed that night, he was not impressed with the evening’s headliner, Bobby Lashley, who survived severely gassing en route to a unanimous decision victory over John Ott.
“I don’t want to talk too much smack, but (the way he won) just looks bad,” commented Rosa.
“I watched the whole film of where he has his own training facility in Colorado at high altitude, and he has all these nice things like people giving him massages. You see what that dude’s got and he can’t last 15 minutes? That’s ridiculous.”
Since he’s currently working a job that routinely forces him to work 11 hours a day on top of his training routine, Rosa doesn’t like to look too far ahead of himself when it comes to the fight game, but he does have one wish he’d like to see come true.
“My main goal is that I want to fight for the UFC one day,” he admitted. “I just want one fight; just give me the opportunity to do it. I think I’ve proved myself over my career that I can compete.
“I just want one chance, and if you give me that chance, I’ll take it.” | *Follow the link for the entire article.

Yea that was a horrible fight. Lashley has no gastank whatsoever. It's not saying anything for his opponent, who couldn't beat a guy with nothing left either. That was an embarrassment to the "sport" of MMA.
I've been saying that Lashley could do well in MMA but I'm seeing that I was wrong. He just really has nothing. He hasn't improved, his striking is a joke, his wrestling isn't all that great, his cardio is pathetic, no submission skills. I know he got a lot of comparisons to Brock and people said the same thing when he got into the WWE but I can tell you this with all honesty. Lashley is no Brock!

Lashley looked awful. And to think that several months ago there were discussions about him vs Lesnar in the UFC. As limited as Lesnar is, he would crush lashley in less than 2 minutes.
Imagine a fight Lashley vs Pudzianowsky, it would be the ideal cure for insomnia.

Lashley is not going anywhere in MMA. His best bet is to call Vice back and beg for his old job. He held a guy down that weighed 30lbs less then him and didnt do much while on top. I think Rosa would smash him. After the fight when Lashley was on the stool he looked like he was about to pass out.

After the fight when Lashley was on the stool he looked like he was about to pass out. | If Lashley took some time to cut some of his muscle and cut a little bit of weight he could certainly improve his cardio in a big way. No guy needs to carry that much muscle, and he can't hope to have any sort of gastank if he stays that big.
However, losing some size will really expose some of the huge holes in Lashley's techniques. He has relied upon his strength and power up until this point in time and if he can't fall back on that he could very easily be destroyed by a high-level fighter.
