The UFC really has to do something more elaberate when inducting fighters like Randy Couture to the hall of fame. The UFC's hall of fame is a total joke right now.You would have figured that atleast they would have done Randy's induction at the sold out Mandalay Bay arena during UFC 61. And if they can give the coaches of TUF a car then they should be able to do better than that cheap piece of glass they give the hall of famers. Randy deserves better!

yea it was terrible. Randy didn't even say much. i was waiting for tears from the audience and what not....but it was lame and boring.

why do you guyz think Randy deserves to be in the hall of fame?

Anyways I didn't think it was lame or anything. There's nothing wrong with just a HoF plaque, and considering Couture is and "advisor" for the next season don't you think he'll get some more shit then?

I hope your not fucking serious b/c if you are you have no business to talk about mma ever!!!!Randy Couture is an ambassador for the sport and is respected by all the fighters and all the TRUE mma fans!!!He's the only guy to come down a weight class and win a title he's the 1st 2 time HW champ, he's also a 2 time LHW champ.Plus Him spanking Tito at UFC 44 is well more than enough to be inducted in HOF.

i totally agree with you why did they do it on the finale and not 61. I dont know if dana was thinking that more people would be watching cause it would be on cable or what. I think that is what dana thought. They should have gave him something better, not the same looking glass shit that the TUF fighters got.

Yeah dude, thats a pretty fucken stupid thing to say about Randy Couture. And because Randy has done so much for the sport is why his induction should have been a much bigger deal. Done in front of thousands not in front of 150 people. If you two other guys dont think the HOF ceremony sucked then you also have no business talking about MMA either.

ya it probably sucked for randy and when he got up there he probably wished he was fighting instead of getting inducted. It made the UFC look like an unestablished fight organization. I say more emotion when TK retired and said by to the pride fans

I knew That I wasn't the only one out there who thought the induction was a joke. I have been a big fan of the UFC and Pride and I respect them as well as the smaller orgainizations more than I do Boxing. The sad shit is that the WWE actually puts on a better Hall of Fame.

that is fuckin so true, a sport that is not even real makes a way bigger deal. I know WWE wrestlers sacrafice there but i think MMA fighters sacrafice there body a little more.

Little bit of a lackluster presentation, especially for someone like Couture. If it had to be done in public, I agree UFC 61 would have been the better place to do it. TUF specials have more time due to less fights scheduled and tons of TV time to build them up during the show, so it makes sense they did it here. It probably would have been better just to do it at a post-show press conference so he could spend as much time as he needed thanking everyone. Then make it an extra on a DVD release or something. I dunno, but yeah the presentation wasn't much it was over before it started. Couture went from nearly crying to Joe Rogan's comments to being pretty much told to wrap it up lol.
