Sean McCorkle’s run with the UFC has come to an end.
The heavyweight who burst onto the scene after a tireless internet campaign has been released from the promotion after suffering back to back losses in the Octagon.
Sources close to McCorkle confirmed his release with MMAWeekly.com on Friday. FiveOuncesofPain.com initially reported the news.
Always entertaining, McCorkle made a great debut in the UFC, submitting former Pride fighter Mark Hunt in his home state of Indiana at UFC 119.

not surprised he was pretty much put in a loser leaves town fight and he lost so i gues its back to the message boards for mccorkle.

I actually like the guy seeing as how I know him personally. He hasnt looked the same in the UFC as he did fighting in the local shows. It's whatever at this point, he's still a nice guy and a real cool dude.
Hope he gets his shit together.
