To put it in context with recent news, it's like signaling out all Muslims for what happened at 9/11.
And yes...DO NOT google that. I was looking for like a picture of what a frat boy would look like and all I saw was...I cant even explain it. DONT DO IT! | I embrace stereotypes. I grew up challenging racism, and opposing prejudice, But as life went on and I experienced more and more I started seeing things as black and white.
wearing an Ed Hardy shirt doesn't necessarily make you a douchebag, but it's a fair estimate.
EDIT just realized how bad that made me sound. I'm not racist. But as Russell Peters says, "I don't make the stereotypes, I just see them"

I don't care how much you like MMA, those Affliction, Ed Hardy, and TapOut shirts are ugly as sin. Hell, they are downright embarrassing. I went out to a bar/club last week and actually felt bad for the girls there because 90% of the guys looked like giant douchebags in those ugly shirts, most were wearing them 2 sizes too small.
Even worse yet is seeing scrawny wimps, middle aged guys, or big fat tubs of goo wearing a shirt that says Tap Out or something on it. You just want to go and punch them in the face and yell "YOU ARE NOT A FIGHTER"!!
I half wish that Nike would get into the MMA gear market so we could just have normal sportswear with a small swoosh on it instead of all this nonsense tattoo or graffiti art with cutesy MMA terms on shirts.
/end rant

FYI: Affliction clothing was initially launched in tattoo magazines and catered to that scene. Fighters and musicians gravitated to IT....not the other way around.

Generalizations are just as bad as superstitions imo, but eh live as you see fit.
