That is the exact kind of elitist statement that chases more fans away and keeps MMA away from the mainstream. I venturing a guess that I have been an MMA fan as long as or longer than you. I happen to have a more progressive opinion on where MMA should go.

This is something I had to think about. Afro was right, UFC does have some of that controversy but having promoters in the sport and no basketball contracts would be a good thing. So I agree to your Don King idea. In fact I think it should be Don King himself. He would make sure all the fights people want to see happen, does happen, and the fighters would get paid more.

You should always be willing to learn from others - whether you like it or not. I bet that Dana White, being a former boxer himself has learned a lot from boxing and how he runs the UFC. He probably learned what NOT to do when he took away lessons from the boxing world.

Why even bring race into this? Why refer to Dana as "some bald White dude, who happens to be named White talkin' like a dork?"
What's the point, other than to sound like a racist pig?

Your suggestions don't make sense. How do you propose that the UFC add this controversy? Shit like that just happens, you don't create it.
