I never knew that about him. No wonder he's in MMA ....... climbing into a cage with someone trying to kick the crap out of you has got to be alot less dangerous than Balkan politics.

I believe Cro cop is into acting just like Bas Rutten (who also tried to get into the film industry as an actor) and Cro Cop has a Croatian film produced. Ya some MMA fighter are fond of acting to name a few Frank Shamrock, Tito Ortiz, Bas Rutten, Cro cop are those fighters.

Did Cro Cop try out for the MMA movie that Arlovski's in?

It would be fun to see Cro Cop fight a couple of people, to get the highlight footage built up before a title match. Maybe after UFN he could fight Silva.

If they are financially stable enough to continue, all is well, they still dominate the UFC and any other organization in terms of talent and depth.

Cro Cop is a huge pickup, single handedly the biggest pickup in UFC history IMO, St. Pierre was a great pickup as well however he is not as tested as Cro Cop as of yet and needs to face some well rounded fighters (Trigg does not fit that criteria) but Pride still has Fedor, Big Nog, Gomi, Wanderlei, Shogun, Barnett, Hunt, Filho, Kang, Hendo, Arona, Lil Nog, Kharitonov, Aleks, Fujita, Nak, Mach, Kawajiri, Ishida, Hansen, Aoki, Melendez, Overeem, Igor (if he returns once he is fully healed, I know he is very old now and his injury has kept him out of the ring for well over a year now), Randleman, etc.

If Pride makes enough money to stay in business I still see them getting the vast majority of the future world class fighters, even with the UFC paying more, Pride is far better at recruiting world class fighters.

As long as Pride stays alive MMA will be ok, if Pride goes down, I see the UFC doing some silly shit that will tarnish the sport. With no Pride that would mean no major competition and then there would be nothing stopping the Monopoly. It would result in tons more PPV's and because they would have the overwhelpming talent pool, they would simply just beat the other orgs cards by a little somthing, not stack cards like they would be capable of so we would get watered down fight cards.

Just my theory on what would happen if the UFC monopolized the MMA market.
