Ya he is pretty funny and entertaining. His past failed drug tests and his attitude at times sometimes makes you forget that. Hopefully this is the new, mature Barnett like he has said. Id love to see him in the ufc.

I love how many times Barnett is referred to as gimmicking himself in that "pro wrestling" and "kayfabe" style because while he desperately attempts time and time again to cut a wrestling-esque promo, he's really not very good at it....if he was, he'd be making a fuckload more working for Vinny, where the gas into terribly "frowned upon".

He is more carnival style hooker than wwe pro wrestler. A true throwback to the routes of american submission wrestling. Nothing about him is WWE, from his wrestling style to his mic skills to his body, he would not fit in. Of course a promo is secondary to him. He has been working japan where most of the time he is actually speaking japanese on the mic....that might have been the 4th or 5th english "heated promo" ive seen him cut besides him totally joking around with mma media and it was much more entertaining than the hype most of these mma fighters do. You can tell he is serious and in shape for this one. No doubt Barnett is ready for this fight. He knows this could be the biggest fight of his career, if he loses, its pretty much over for him. He is in rare form and to see him like this right before a fight is exciting for me as an mma fan.
