The fight card for Bellator's first "Summer Series" event is set with nine bouts.
Bellator 46 takes place June 25 at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, Fla. The night's main card airs on MTV2.
The opening round of an eight-man featherweight tournament populates the main card while a host of Florida-based fighters fill the untelevised preliminary card.
MMAjunkie.com (UFC blog for UFC news, UFC rumors, fighter interviews and event previews/recaps | MMAjunkie.com) first reported four of the five preliminary-card bouts, including middleweights Dan Cramer (6-2 MMA, 3-0 BFC) vs. Josh Samman (8-1 MMA, 0-0 BFC), female fighters Jessica Aguilar (10-4 MMA, 1-1 BFC) vs. Carla Esparza (4-1 MMA, 0-1 BFC), middleweights Moyses Gabin (5-4 MMA, 2-2 BFC) vs. David Baggett (6-6 MMA, 0-0 BFC), and heavyweights Tony Johnson (5-1 MMA, 0-0 BFC) vs. Derrick Lewis (4-1 MMA, 0-0 BFC).
A new addition includes recent signee Alexandre "Popo" Bezerra (8-1 MMA, 0-0 BFC) vs. fellow featherweight Matt McCook (8-4 MMA, 0-0 BFC).
