I wonder if this (know it happened a while ago) had anything to do with JDS lacklustre performance?
Not going to be training with the elite he was training with previously, perhaps it's taken a while for the rot to set in?
I also remember him saying he could stand with a Klitschko brother boxing, don't think so somehow.
Still an awesome fighter and I look forward to seeing how he bounces back from this brutal defeat

The split was in summer on 2011. Since then, he defeated Cain and Frank Mir looking very good. Yesterday's performance has nothing to do with him leaving Ed Soares.
And as far as I know, he continues to train with the Nogs, with Luiz Dorea, there are pics where he trains with Feitosa, there is a video of him sparring with a silver medalist olympic boxer. He has good trainers and has good camps.
It is just that yesterday he was not himself.
As for his comments of KOing Klitshcko, sometimes JDS says somethings kinda arrogants and out of place. But I think it is not because he is cocky, but because he has an extremely high confidence in himself.
This defeat may humble him a little bit, he is great but not invincible.

Don't think so, think he is still part of Team Nogueira but I notice Nog or Anderson don't come to the ring with him anymore, find that a little odd

Actually Nog was in the backstage with Cigano. I do not know why he was not in his corner though.
As for Anderson Silva, yes, he was probably learning from Steven Seagal what is a jab.

JDS is still part of Team Nog, which is Blackhouse. :/
Has nothing to do with training and everything to do with getting hit in the jaw and stalked around by Cain.
Why must people look for excuses?

Holy bump batman! Anyways Cain got in that ass lastnight. It happens in the fight game but Cigano is part to blame for trying to box with his hands down like Silva. He doesn't have Silva's chin but he obviously can take a punch.
Most other fighters probably would have gotten KTFO by that shot so kudos for JDS. I look forward to the rematch but I also look forward to Reem Vs Cain.
By the way how about Overeem's prediction that Cain would beat JDS. Damn he was on point with that one.
