I just saw under ufc news that they announced Tim Sylvia will be fighting tba, rich franklin fighting tba and matt hughes fighting tba, i think they will give crocop a shot if doesnt take any damage at his next fight or vera if his contract goes through, will hughes be fighting diego, and whos next for franklin?

I was just about the post this as a new thread myself!

I read that Franklin v. MacDonald is rumored, but I'll save comments for that particular thread.

So who are we thinking for Hughes and for Sylvia? Is it safe to say that Vera is getting his shot (I doubt they'll even have Cro Cop fight at two PPVs in a row)? I'm thinking, along with most other fans, that they've finally gotta give Diego to Hughes.

I dont think they will have Diego fight Hughes. They want him to have a title shot as an undefeated fighter. If he loses to Hughes that screws that all up. Let Karo throw hughes all over the cage. Ive been waiting for that fight for a long time.

For some reason, I keep forgetting about Karo. Yeah, if Karo can avoid the slams, then it'd be nice seeing Matt's country ass get tossed around.

i'd really love to see hughes and diego fight....but agree with many that it most likely ain't gonna happen.

i say since koscheck is on a hot streak........they feed em to hughes so we can watch hughes destroy him in the 1st round!!!!

You over estimate Karo's throws. Hughes aint Diego as far as wrestling. Hughes is way too powerfull and was a better Grecko Roman wrestler then a collegit or freestyle wrestler. I know Karo is a Judo champ, but Judo and Samba are the ugly cousins to wrestling and not nearly as effective. It will be a good fight but Hughes will GNP the shit out of Karo. I'd make a bet with you, but I already placed one down for Hughes to win with 3 to 1 odds against my favor.

Saying Judo and Sambo are ugly cousins and not nearly effective to wreslting is retarded dude. Have you ever heard of Fedor? That is his styles Judo throws and Sambo locks.

I wrestled my entire life and I have done Sambo now for 5 years and I would absoutley kill a wrestler in my own weight class with Sambo.
