What if Gabriel "Napao" Gonzaga beats Tim Sylvia?

What happens if Gabriel "Napao" Gonzaga beats Tim Sylvia? How would this affect the UFC HW division? Would Tim get a quick rematch? Would the UFC try and keep Tim from the belt? Does Dana like Tim as UFC HW Champ? Could Cro Cop get a title fight and win the Title without fighting Tim first?

These are all very interesting questions to be asked, if Gonzaga some how beats Tim Sylvia.

What I would like to see if Tim loses that belt to Gonzaga, is a Tim Sylvia vs Cro Cop match for the number one contender spot. Then possibly on the same card Arlovski and Gonzaga could square off for the HW title.

If this all worked out perfect, it would set up for Arlovski vs Cro Cop for the UFC HW title. If that happened, we would have one of the best main events in UFC history.

Not that any of this will happen, but if it did work this way, it would be mint.

What do you think might happen?

Could happen. I liked the look of Gonzaga, I just don't know if he's ready. Should be a pretty good fight though. I'll be rooting for Gonzaga!

I'll be rooting for Gonzaga as well ('cause he's not Tim Sylvia), but I don't know if he's smart enough yet to have figured out that he can get around that stupid jab.

i think that tim is being fed an (relatively) easy fight....so that he can gain some more hype before he gets the belt ripped away from him. he's looked so damn boring defending his belt in his last couple fights against worthy skilled opponents, so i think the ufc wants to make him look a little better right now. maybe get a ko or something. hell, i donno.

i do know that if gonzaga does happen to steal this fight....the hw division just got that much uglier.

i mean out of all honesty, who in the hell wants to see gabrial gonzaga with the belt wrapped around his waist?!?!?!

Gabriel can win but wont win.. he has some KO power in his hands, hes got a BJJ background but he wont win.. this is another guy that Tim can just fight not to lose against and beat him.

This fight looks like a way for people to forget that3 out of his last 4 fights have been decisions. Dana is looking for a highlight KO.

I hope Gonzaga beats Sylvia. It would be a big upset, and it would be fun to see if Tim would get a rematch right away. If not, I wonder if Cro Cop would get the shot, or if someone else would.
