The only people the UFC rules would really limit would be Wand and Shogun, considering they absolutely LOVE to use stomps and soccer kicks. CroCop'll do great in the UFC, he has superstar written all over him. One LHK (or crap, any KO) will make us ignorant American MMA fans *note sarcasm* fawn all over him. Not only that, but his English is easier to understand sometimes than GSP's.
Really, it comes down to this. If UFC fans love Arlovski, than they will really love CroCop.

The cage helps CroCop's striking. He can better use angles and not get stuck in a corner, which can happening easily in a ring. He'll have more freedom to circle and pick apart his opponent, you can't deny that. Maybe the octagon isn't striker friendly because the wrestlers they face are just better than them. Fighters with great takedown defense like CroCop and Liddell use the octagon to improve their striking game.
About all UFC strikers being jackasses, I don't really know where that came from but it gave me a good laugh.

It's one think if you can't strike with a Striker, it's another thing if you don't even attempt a take down and come flailing in using the infamous Wind Mill technique. some same thing happend to Leban. He can punch, no doubt about that, but he's a horrible striker. Matt hughes also sparks my interest. He wishes he could strike, he tryed, and look what happend to him. |

the cage and the ring are two totally different things the cage makes a huge difference, especially for wrestlers, cro-cop's striking is on a level the ufc has not seen before, it seems like he will truly be able to shake things up in the ufc, but until we see him in the cage, and see him up against a strong wrestler/ground fighter, it is hard to say, two of his major losses have been on the ground remember Noguiera, and emelianenko x2,

Crocops introduction to the UFC will be similar to Anderson Silva's. A virtual unknown to many UFC fans will come in and quickly take the title away from whoever the current champ may be.
