rampage and tito have said they won't fight eacother. rampage really holds tito up in a high light. he's said "tito's the only white dude i'ld let call me n*gg@ with the er"

i like tito but judging from his past actions if it was rampage or the belt he would give up his friendship to fight him.
I doubt that. If your basis is the history between Chuck and Tito you would be wrong. Chuck is the one that abandoned a friendship for a fight.

The idea of a "true number one contender" is the stupidiest MMA idea to be perpetuated by fans and media, EVER.

Chuck said many times there was never any friendship between the two. Tito just didn't want to get exposed which is why he clinged on to the whole 'Friendship' angle. Just to escape an ass whipping. Friendship doesn't work in mma. All one does is deny another person the right to make a good living. Tito was only in it for himself, he didn't have any tight bond with Chuck. It's all fabrication and now it's evident why, seeing as how he got obliterated so easily and so badly.

Yeah that recent interview with Rampage saw Rampage saying he wouldn't fight Tito cause it's his boy. It could of been Tito that told Rampage he wouldnt fight him because it's his boy and Rampage just echoed it, who knows but when a lot of money is thrown in ur face it can change everything.

And btw, Tito did dodge Chuck, here's a little clip from an article on it....

"Enter Tito Ortiz. Previously the UFC Light Heavyweight Champion, Ortiz had already shown a desire to be a showman--in short, someone people feel strongly about. But this time Tito forgot one major fight rule: never taunt a powerful, strong fighter who is aching for redemption, and hungry for revenge on somebody.
Both men had trained at the Pitfight Club, but came to have a falling-out that only got worse as Ortiz taunted Liddell. Many thought the taunts were a bit strange, since Ortiz had long been running from a decisive title fight with Liddell, the very man he was taunting. Such actions even appear to have cost Tito some fans, who were beginning to say that Ortiz was willing to talk a big fight against the title contender, but was not willing to back it up.
Consider this: After all the teasing and taunting, when it was time for Liddell to get his title shot, Ortiz suddenly took a hiatus from title defenses. Tito then claimed that he and Liddell were friends all along, and further claimed the two had made a pact that they would never fight one another. Then Tito decided this was the perfect time to voice a dissatisfaction with his UFC contract, and to hold out for re-negotiations. Now of course only Tito knows why he decided to take such a path, and perhaps we shouldn't jump to quick conclusions. But to most eyes, it looked like Ortiz's main problem was a large yellow streak which was beginning to grow down his back."

... I think that says it all right there, then Tito came back later on and lost to Randy Couture at UFC 44.. Then at UFC 47 Tito finally took the match with Chuck and we all know what happened there.
