|  most misused fighters in mma
i just saw that eddie alvarez is going to damn impact wrestling on spike to do a show...
i think it's a fucking travesty how badly bellator has misused such an exciting and top 10 caliber fighter.
dude should have been fighting way more consistently. i pray there isn't many more fights on his contract with bellator.. i bet he feels the same. he needs to be in the ufc or anywhere where he'll fight more. i haven't heard of him have any serious injuries to warrant such a long lay off so i don't know what the deal is...
close second is cyborg (female type), but i can understand that a lil' more because there are so few females in her weight class that are really deserving of a title fight with her. women's mma has such a gap between the top 3-5 fighters in each weight class and the rest of the pack.

Eddie loves it at Bellator, they pay him well and he's the top dog. That appearance on Tna is easy money, I bet he's loving it.

I would have to say the most misused it Bisbing. My apartment building doesn't even have a doorman. I wish Dana would stop hording him, so we can finally put him to the use God intended.

I don't get that feeling about alvarez. i think he's the type of fighter who wants to stay active and wants to fight the best... bellator has not allowed him either. of course, this is all my own opinion and i can't really back any of that up... but, i just don't think he's the type of guy who'll be content fighting mid-tier fighters every once in awhile then kinda just sit on the shelf for a year then do it again.
he shoulda fought gil.. i think he would've won that fight. if he ends up in the ufc, i think him and melvin would be a great match up.

Currently It has to be Machida in the UFC. Dana doesnt like him. Quote:

Thats a good one, but everyone in strikeforce has been misused, neglected, and given too much pull from time to time. Lets hope he comes to the UFC and fights top competition. I like his style but cant stand seeing him fighting mid level competition. | I feel like this might have been true a few years back, but his last 7 fights have been against Ortiz, Thiago Silva, Rashad, Rua (twice), Rampage and Randy Couture. Seems to be doing ok to me, I don't know many LHWs who have been fortunate enough to fight those names

He did get offered the #1 contender fight with Rashad all the same though lol, that would have been quickly after Randy. Although, I feel like he made the right career choice not taking that on short notice
