| Wandy's opponent now OFFICIAL for Pride 33

Looks like Hendo vs. Wandy afterall - kind of a disappointment if you ask me. I was hoping for Wandy vs. L'il Nog, but the Americans need their hero, I guess.

Their first fight was good, but I am now assuming that this will be yet another fight without a belt on the line. Unless they are going to give Hendo the chance to be a double title holder. But I doubt that DSE would do so.

Does Wandy fight MW's anymore?
Give him Lil Nog or Arona in the rubbermatch. If Pride wants to be taken seriously in America they have to have their champions have fights with the titles on the line.

Don't get me wrong, I think that it will be a good fight and Hendo can fight at 205 no problem.
But the one thing that Pride does that pisses me off is they have their champs fight far too many non - title bouts. And this will be another one of those instances. Even though right now it says that this is a title fight, I don't believe that they would put Hendo in a position to have two titles.
I was really looking forward to L'il Nog vs. Wandy because of the Chute Boxe - BTT rivalry and the fact that this fight has been a long time coming. I will still watch, but I am disappointed that they are throwing in an American just for the sake of having an American in the main event - like Fedor vs. Coleman.

Hendo fights at 185, not 205, so they won't give him a title shot, not to mention Hendo already has a belt.
