Default WOW!!!Guy analyzes 12,000 fights via supercomputer

this guy must have a tons of time on his hands and even more patience. Some pretty cool and interesting results I think. Sad about the Japanese fighter statistics. Follow the link for story.

I thought it was pretty fucking interesting myself. Good read.

Crazy how he picks a random 'betting rule' and it turns out right 33 out of 50 times.

Im a number and stats type of guy, I'll never shy away from a stat pertaining to my favourite sport.

heh that was an interesting read good find.. seems like common sense on some of these trends but some of them were good.. i was a little surprised to see that the wrestling vs no wrestling background was less than 85%

Over the past year for strictly MMA events (UFC/SF and maybe 2 other events), I am 177 out of 276 which works out to 64%...slightly under Vik's 66 percent.

I have been pretty solid around 65 percent over the past 2 years.

Most people average around 55-60 percent.

I'll see if by reading this dude's stats, if my stats/winnings will further improve.

LOL.

So... If you are old, you will probably lose.
...... If you knock people out all the time, you will probably knock an old person out.

...... Never bet on Japan.

GSP and Anderson is skewing the results by having no wrestling background and winning fights.

Very cool idea for betting; funny how something as simple as age will get you a pretty decent indicator of who will win.

These stats don't bode well for Rampage.
