Kind of crazy, but I work for a power tool company and I saw Stephan Bonnar at a Chicago Home Depot that I sell tools in. At first he looked familiar and I couldn't put my finger on it and then I realized it was Bonnar.

So about 15 minutes after I saw him I thought he left the store and I was talking to a store associate about him and how he fought in the UFC and was suspended for testing positive for a banned substance. Well wouldn't you know he comes walking around the corner!! I wasn't talking shit about him, but I still felt like an ass because I am sure it is an embarassing situation for him.

Not knowing if he heard me I said "what's up" and started talking to him. I asked him if he is still training/fighting, where he is fighting, etc.... He said he trains in Chicago still and lives right down the street, he also was telling me about how he busted his hand and has pins in it. He said he was heading down to Naperville (Chicagoland city) to train on some wrestling today and he is still with the UFC. I asked him what he thought about Forrest running out of the ring like a little bitch after his loss and he said it was probably a tough loss for him. He was definitely showing Forrest alot of respect. All in all seemed like a really cool guy. I just figured I would share the encounter.

It isn't about that. I have played competitive sports allof my life and have never handled a loss like that.

yeah i cried after my baseball team lost our state cahmpionship match. Forrest is passionate about what he does. He loves fighting, which is why he has quickly become a fan favorite. Him and chris leben both cry when they lose because they are that emotional about it

competitive sports is a lot different then fighting. when you lose in football or basketball, its not because someone whipped your ass.

I agree with you, but 90% of what is said here is fighter bashing.

I lost a match that was the differnce for me to make into the semi finals at State. It hurt, but you can't cry about it. My dad wouldn't let me cry in situations like that and I thank him for it now as an adult.
