| White confirms two-hour broadcast, four fights for UFC on FOX 2; says Sonnen possible White confirms two-hour broadcast, four fights for UFC on FOX 2; says Sonnen possible Quote:
"Two hours," White said flatly. "Four fights."
As MMAjunkie.com reported earlier this week, UFC on FOX 2 takes place Jan. 28 at the 21,000-seat United Center in Chicago.
UFC on FOX 1 event took place this past weekend (and averaged a record 5.7 million viewers with a peak of 8.8 million for a Junior Dos Santos vs. Cain Velasquez headliner), though it was considered a "teaser" event since the landmark UFC-FOX deal doesn't officially begin until 2012.
White refused to tip his hand on what fights are planned for the second FOX event but did all but rule out the possibility of another title fight. That said, the UFC boss did promise fans will be pleased once official announcements are made.
"I don't think you're going to see a title fight, but I don't think you're going to be disappointed with what you're going to see," White told MMAjunkie.com (UFC blog for UFC news, UFC rumors, fighter interviews and event previews/recaps | MMAjunkie.com). "We're giving you some good fights."
One hotly rumored potential bout for UFC on FOX 2 has been the highly anticipated Anderson Silva (29-4 MMA, 14-0 UFC) vs. Chael Sonnen (26-11-1 MMA, 5-4 UFC) rematch. But White confirmed June seems the most likely date for the middleweight champions return, and his sly smile and feigned ignorance when questioned about the legitimacy of recent reports the fight will likely take place in Sao Paulo seemed to suggest "The Spider" will next fight in his native Brazil.
But with Sonnen recently claiming he's not necessarily comfortable with waiting on Silva to heal some nagging shoulder bursitis, could the outspoken challenger fight first in Chicago?
"Possible," White said along with one of many sly smiles he flashed on the evening. "It's possible."

I would MUCH rather see Chael v Munoz as it actually means something as far as rankings, title shot, etc. Chael would literally walk right through Wandy and if anyone thinks otherwise, well.....I may want to tell you Santa Claus isn't real.
It would have to be Munoz and set it up for the winner gets Anderson in July.

Chael Munoz... whats ur pick? | I just can't pick against Chael unless he fights Anderson. Chael is the MUCH better wrestler and he the better stand up but Munoz has much more power. The thing is, Chael is next to impossible to knock out. Chael dominates Munoz on the ground for a 30-27 UD. Would it be a 5 rounder? Probably huh? Then 50-45. I think Chael shows he's just on another level like he did against Stann.

Hard being Chael though. I highly doubt he's making 170 and he is without a doubt the #2 guy at MW but I don't think he can beat Anderson. Him and Jon Fitch should start a club or something.
Do you think Chael could make 170?
