Retarded article writer.
What does he expect people to think. He went out and trained for 8+ weeks, he fought his ass off for 3 rounds destroying Chandler who kept trying to push forward, nearly zombie like. Third round had to be a 10-8 for Eddie.
But then Eddie slowed down, Chandler threw an overhand right, he kind of hesitated during the shot is was coming so slowly. It was weird that Eddie didn't block the shot, or move out of the way, he had the chance to do both, but instead, he hesitated too, and just took the shot, got wobbled, he got mounted, he was completely gassed and instantly did the wrong thing, gave his opponent his back, mount, flattened out, choked.
Saying he quit, is different than destroying your opponent, being frustrated you can't knock him out, then your opponent drops you and mounts you and you are so gassed and broken, that you concede.
Very different things in my mind.
I mean, if you think of it, everyone who taps quits, but it's dick move to say that. WHen I think quitter, I think of someone who didn't try, not someone who tried and failed.
