Because he was a champ and sees the deficiencies in the one he thinks he can beat, but that happens when you get older your mind grows stronger but the body grows weaker, some times the mind can over come his bodies weakness but it still leads to delusions of what could be on what you had and it is sad but it happens to every one not just fighters, if he over comes and wins he is a hero if he loses well they say he stayed in too long, but he still can say he tried even if trying at this point in time is not rational, but doing what he does for a living is not rational, it is the same road well traveled but has to be unfortunately done for his piece of mind, a blind hog finds an acorn every once in a while!

And anyone who saw Randy commentating a Pride Wandy fight when he said that he would enjoy fighting him...Forget Chuck, a Randy-Wandy fight is probably much more likely now.

Is there anyone here who likes Sylvia as a champ? This is a serious question. Can anyone say (seriously, no smart ass replies) that they have been satisfied with the performance Sylvia has put on for us?

Seriously -- NO. Can't stand anyone who fights just not to lose, and coming from a belt holder makes it 10 times worse. Win Lose or Draw, Randy always brings it. Thats why he commands respect and Timmy doesn't.

That is exactly now why I think Randy will beat him. Now that I believe that Randy is SERIOUS, I cant see Sylvia DOING ENOUGH to take a decision from Randy. I cant see him knocking Randy out b/c I see Randy's game plan being not being that far away from him. I was a huge Sylvia fan and loved the attitude (at the time) but that was after an impressive performance. Pretty sad that after beating people you're disrespected. Tim would be lucky to lose a decision to Randy than get COMPLETLY EMBARASSED by CC.

I think Randy can probably handle Sylvia, Couture has quicker hands and probably will also go to the legs to wear the big guy down. But if he beats Sylvia he should immediately drop back to LHW, because if he has to fight CroCop then he will be heading home with a big concussion to match his big paycheck.

P.S. This isn't necessarily a sign that Couture vs. Vanderlei Silva is likely to happen, but it definitely brings it back to life!
