[Fedorlei Gomipierre]

Between TUF:Brasil & the Johnson vs. McCall card this coming Friday, I think there's gonna be some really low scoring pickems overall, however Maynard vs. Guida & Silva/Sonnen II do have some semi-gimmes that'll ease the burn.

Last night was me using armchair sabermetrics then listening to too many "predictions" and changing too much of my shit up. It's hard as hell to gauge who on these TUF cards is going to make a fight out of it to go the distance and who is going to get torched alot of the time.

I can see somebody breaking 40 on the Guida/Maynard and Aldo/Koch cards looking down the line.

Hey guys, no scoring update. Just saw there was an event tonight, Lil burnt out from life lately, missed the last 2 pick em's altogether.

Will definitely get the Maynard/Guida, Mini Tom Lawlor/Johnson cards scored this weekend. I'll try to do it for ya tomorrow.

No worries buddy, shitty you missed the events when you are "in the mix".

Maybe we should revisit that idea we talked about for people who missed events to keep people more active and participating. So many people have dropped off.

I appreciate the work both of you put into these pick ems. It really adds another level of fun to fight nights.

I do think it would help to tweak things a bit to compensate for missed cards. Maybe at the end of the year take each persons 12 highest scoring cards, that way missing one or two doesn't kill you.

That's an interesting idea. An idea that was mentioned before was to give a lower base number of points to regular players who miss out on events... So say the lowest average score was 10 points.. Maybe people who have missed the event get 8 - or you get to drop 5 events at the end of the year or something similar.

Either of those ideas sound good. I especially like the low average number being awarded. That sounds fair.
