Maia looked awful, and Weidman definitely showed up out of shape. It was a pretty slow paced fight and both guys were totally exhausted, the only real difference in the fight was Weidman's considerable reach advantage allowed him to land a few more pot shots from the outside then Maia.
Davis is a tough guy, I mean look at how easily he subbed Gustafsson and how he outworked Lil Nog, and then Evans makes him look like a chump. Evans looks like he can be a solid test for Jones, he just needs a to win the battle of takedowns and avoid taking too much damage on the outside.
Sonnen/Bisping was kind of meh, Sonnen wins the fight off of one key dominant position, but he pretty much showed his entire game is ground control and he's got no other weapons. The speech was so damn rehearsed and stupid, how can a guy come out and eek out a decision and then rant about how he's the greatest ever? He almost lost to the same guy who got dominated by Hendo and almost KO'ed by Wanderlei.
The fight made me feel like the Silva/Sonnen fight was a bit of a fluke since Sonnen caught Silva early with a 1 in a million haymaker, but there is always that chance that he out-muscles Silva. Btw I totally called it on the Bisping/Sonnen fight, Bisping's defensive grappling and cardio definitely shined as I thought it would, and Sonnen looked pretty shitty. If he gets caught bull rushing forward against a guy like Belfort or Silva he's going to sleep.
