I always heve been and always will be a Hughes fan.
He has nothing left to prove....he is the man that controlled the WW division for a very long time

Has anyone seen his hunting show yet? I'd like to check it out just out of curiosity.
Funny how he mentions his wife in almost every interview.. Ah, the old ball and chain.
I too would like to see Matt end his career with a win.
Hey Cat (and everyone else),
If you have not seen it yet, check out the Ultimate Hughes DVD. Real good watch. Ultimate Gracie is also really good

I personally have never liked Hughes for a long time, but as soon as his fight with Serra was done, I for some reason started rooting for him in every fight. He was dominant as could be back in the day, and if he wants another fight, I say let him have it.

Match him with someone who is grappler-based, not with someone who could easily knock his lights out again.
I would like to see him try to fight Hallman again but I think he moved to LW, i'm not sure. Ebersole would be an interesting fight, too. Maybe Kim or Shields.
All in all, I just want to see him win one last time.
I have yet to actually watch an episode. If it was called Matt Hughes Trophy Hunters of Trophy Hunters with Matt Hughes, I would have probably tuned in. But I had no clue he has had a show since 2009 or 2010.
Having said that, he is a pioneer, and he was a dominant champion when I started to watch the sport in '04. I always wanna see guys like him be able to walk away from the sport they helped build on a win
