I agree. It will show how much he really has improved. I still say Fitch beats Hendricks 4 times outta 5.

I don't think Diaz and Condit want to sit on the bench that long. Maybe they want to be Rashad...sit on the sidelines only to get injured and lose your title shot.

Most fighters in the UFC would probably just want to keep fighting on a regular basis as long as they are healthy.

Hendricks had a beautiful flash KO & has a respectable record, but he's still nowhere near the top of the heap at WW.

Before everybody loads up on this bandwagon, match Johny up with Stungun, Neer or Mike Pyle, who will IMO, absolutely pull him back down to earth. Story's knee is all messed right now, but Story completely controlled Hendricks as would most other middle to top tier grapplers.

If he beats one of my above mentioned fighters, then I'll start considering him as legit, if he beats anybody higher than the names mentioned above, I'll be very shocked.

I’d much rather go for the UFC interim belt. I’ve seen so many people who are right there, right there to get that shot and something happens ... it never fails, something happens, and they don’t win. And then it takes them three or four fights to get back, which is a year to a year-and-a-half back, and that’s if everything lines up perfectly
Lol is he really complaining about guys losing and not getting a title shot??? Sucks to be them, but if you cant beat "fighter B" then what the fuck makes you think your ready to fight the champ??

That paragraph sounds like "I want to hurry up and get my title shot now while I got a big win, because theres a good chance if I keep fighting other contenders Im going to lose"

You shouldnt be scared of getting knocked off if you're truly the #2 guy in the division...

Thats where I have Hendricks personally. Story/Kampmann/Alves/Sanchez/Ellenberger. All borderline to low top 10 guys, those are the guys he should be fighting imo.

The sites that have Hendricks in the top3-5 just make me laugh. But hey, throw him in with the wolves and see how he does. I wouldnt be upset, We've seen crazier things.

Without a doubt. Crazy how much positive OR negative attention a fighter can get after only one fight.

Story beats Alves and its "OMFGZZZ this kid is the future!!"
Hendricks KOs Fitch and its "This guy can KO anyone anytime!!!"

I've learned from countless fighters to never jump on the bandwagon untill after it hits a few bumps so to say. Especially if that fighter just got a One shot KO in under a minute.
