The injury bug bites again.

UFC 144 is starting to feel the sting of injuries as Leonard Garcia is the latest to fall victim, forcing him out of his scheduled fight with Tiequan Zhang.

Sources close to the fighter confirmed to MMAWeekly.com on Monday that Garcia would be forced off the fight card set for Japan.

While the nature of the injuries are unknown, Garcia, who is widely considered one of the toughest fighters in the sport, obviously was banged up enough to have to drop out of the fight.

This may be true, but he has had a number of questionable decisions go his way

His decision wins over Nam Phan and Korean Zombie were ridiculous, and he had a split decision loss to Hominick which was beyond clearly a UD loss

I think the boos come more towards the judges, because he seems to recieve points for simply throwing punches, whether or not the connect, and whether or not he's getting tapped up in the meantime

The errors are a testament to the horrible state of judging, they have nothing to do with Leonard. Simple people can't comprehend that though.

I understand that the fans are most likely booing the judges, but after someone pours their heart out in the ring for 15 minutes, putting their health and safety on the line for our entertainment, it's extremely disrespectful. They might as well be booing the fighter, they'd boo him when he would e talking so I'm not entirely convinced they were just booing the judges. Just my 2 cents tho
