But don't get it twisted, Vera is infinitly better on the feet than Roid Rage over there.

I still think Thiago would hold his own with Vera standing if he chose too. The key words being "if he chose too." Because there is nothing Vera can do from keeping Thiago from putting him on his back. Vera has some of the worse takedown defense in the LHW if not all of MMA. Seriously when has he not been taken down by someone at LHW? Thiago will strike long enough to bully Vera against the cage, take him down and then smash him. Just like the first fight.

This is might be the most utterly pointless rematch in UFC history since Tito v. Shamrock 3. And even that one had more of a point at least ratings wise.

Vera was waaaay too quick on the feet for Thiago. He wanted nothing to do with that shit. He took him down instantly. Vera's stand up is better than Thiago's. Hell Brandon Vera's stand up is better than most.... when he's focused. Hope to see a fire in Vera in this rematch.

Vera was impressive some years ago, now not so much.

If Thiago comes in really good shape he is going to win again. Hopefully he uses Vera's back as drums again lol

i personally hope Silva runs through Vera but i would not write Vera off by any means. plus he has all the motivation he needs, to get revenge on somebody that cheated and i'm sure Vera knows in the back of his head that a lost here very well could equal his walking papers again. I think a man fighting for revenge, honor and his job could be very motivational and beneficial to Vera.

i hope this is an undercard fight i dont see it being any different than the first fight which was insanely boring.

heres what i think, i dont think silva will beable to do what he did in the 1st fight. face it randy couldnt control vera like that and silva is not even close to the wrestler that randy is and randy couldnt even maul vera so i dont see silva doing it without all that extra power and strength. doesnt mean vera will win it just wont be like the 1st fight.
