Barry already stated that he is going to be looking to grapple n sub from now on until he gets one; I think he is going to try and be truthfull to his word.

Barry/Johnson is SUCH a weird fight to make.
First, there's the obvious size difference, which Pat is used to giving up in HW fights. Here, I believe Pat can work Johnson's lead leg all night long, because while a powerful striker, Johnson is somewhat unrefined in comparison and really looks for the homerun. That being said, Johnson is such a hoss, that nearly every strike has the chance of connecting with homerun power.
Thing is with this fight, is that Johnson has ziltch for cardio, so he'll look to unload and overpower in the first round and if he doesn't finish in the first half of the fight, chances are Pat can really start calling his shots. But Johnson's physicality is such a massive bully, that he has the potential to lean on Pat, work the clinch and rock Barry, again which has a shot to put Pat's lights out.
So, while the stand-up battle potentially looks like a "toss-up", I would 100% recommend Pat takes this fight to the ground, because Johnson, while a big man, has a pathetic groundgame. If HD REALLY has learned anything from Lesnar, Russow and Konrad, I thoroughly believe he could get Johnson to the ground and pound him out, gas Johnson and get his much sought after submission.
This fight ON PAPER looks like a slam-bang HW throwdown, I truly see Barry eating something hard and trying to take Johnson down. I think HD is gonna RNC Johnson within 2 rounds.
Would've preferred Del Rosario/Barry, but I suppose Shane hasn't fully healed yet.
Pat Barry is always an entertaining, explosive fighter, but this is one match-up that I don't believe has the promise of fireworks. Again, maybe I'll be wrong.

Again, maybe I'll be wrong. | I think you're right except for that one bold, since Johnson showed a lot of patience in his last fight and worked the jab beautifully. I think Beltran's style definitely work in the big mans favor allowing him to land the jab at will, but I would definitely expect Johnson to keep that jab in Barry's face which could cause some serious problems for the much shorter fighter. If Johnson continues to improve his technical striking like that it will help his cardio a lot, as he's not wasting energy on hay makers.

They are doing the right choice by putting fights that have potential to be great entertaining fights.
The first 2 Fox cards failed in terms of excitement, so this should be different.
Diaz vs Miller will be interesting, I thing Nate wins by dec.
Barry vs Lavar, both are strong punchers. If Barry really trains a lot of BJJ, maybe he can get the sub. Lavar has 5 defeats, 4 of them were by Submission.

If there's anyone for Barry to test his ground game against it's Lavar.

I think anyone thinking badly for Barry is sadly mistaken. Lavar reminds me of a striking version of Marcus Jones. Beltran isnt a technical fighter nor is he very skilled in any particular area rather then taking shot's which he may have just lost the ability to do. Pat is gunna light Lavar the fuck up with his speed and technique. NOWAY in hell Lavar's slow robotic ass is going to have anything standing that troubles pat. I see Johnson going out kinda similar to how he just put Beltran out. Face down snooozing like a baby.
