Karlos Vemola (8-2 MMA, 1-2 UFC) is dropping another weight class and moves from light heavyweight to middleweight and now meets Mike Massenzio (13-6 MMA, 2-4 UFC) in May at UFC on FOX 3.

UFC officials today announced the fight.

UFC on FOX 3 takes place May 5 at IZOD Center in East Rutherford, N.J. The main card airs on FOX, and prelims are expected to air on FUEL TV. Vemola vs. Massenzio likely will be part of the prelims.

As officials announced Wednesday, lightweight contenders Nate Diaz and Jim Miller meet in a five-round non-title main event.
