I would fire my manager for telling me this less than 24 hours before the fight:

At this very moment, I wanted to pull Cobb from the fight. I called Cobb and said, “I recommend pulling you from the fight. You’re being docked 20 per cent, told you’re cut if you lose, and the fight is now 3 rounds versus 5. You have nothing to gain and all to lose in this situation.”

Nothing to gain?
Beating McKee, still means beating McKee (27-4) And being internationally televised everywhere that HDNet is televised. WTF nothing to gain? Being all negative before the fight? Cobb only had something to gain.
When you weigh in, it's not like it's just Pavelich weighing you. It is at least two commission guys...one watching the scale and the other doing the paperwork. And if Cobb had a decent manager, he would have known. He had the pre weigh in and he was over, and he did the actual weigh in and he was 0.6 over 155. His manager should have known that he was considered over. His fault for not knowing that 1 lbs over is agreed upon around the world...overwise, why not just call the weight limit 156?
McKee rehydrating I wouldn't consider disrespect. Like he said, McKee called and told him that he was going to be over. And they
denied the 160 catchweight, at that point, I am sure McKee had some pedialyte and drank some water thinking the fight was either off or might not happen, either way, he's eating something.
Pavelich does again come off like a dick, but so does Cobb's management. Cobb's manager didn't do his job. He is suppose to know the rules in other organizations/states/provinces where his fighter is set to fight.
