| The Jon Jones You See On TV Is Fake, Says Evans The Jon Jones You See On TV Is Fake, Says Evans Quote:
[Jon Jones is]A lot different than a lot of people think. Jon Jones has a persona that he does for TV and when you get to know Jon Jones personally he’s nothing like he is on TV. He is kind of fake. That’s the only way to put it is that he is just fake. I don’t want to say anything too much but I’m just trying to say he’s fake, he’s not real. But that’s something he is going to have to deal with himself. You can be fake all you want to but the only person you are hurting is yourself.”
“Suga” Rashad Evans recently too to UFC Tonight to talk about a multitude of topics, one of which was his thoughts on his UFC 145 opponent and UFC 205 champ, Jon Jones

Here we go again. Oh, and didn't Quinton make the same claims about Rashad during their TUF stint?
If I were him I'd be less concerned with Jones' character and more about not getting chocked or knocked out. Seems logical to me.

I don't know anything about Jones but what I've seen in the cage. Aside from his incredibly stupid monkey walkout to the center, I don't know that there is anything fake about him.
But I'm probably in the minority, because this soap opera shit went right under my radar...and yet, it seems to revolve around Evans. First it was Tito, then rampage, now Jones...
I like it when fighters actually produce once they've talked about a guy.

But RH, the UFC "hype train" needs fuel

It makes you suspect that everything is a work, that a legitimate sport is close to WWE nonsense. It's different if guys actually settle their differences in the ring, but I detest the marketing alter-ego nonsense. I don't watch fights because somebody said something mean about somebody else. I watch to see who is the better fighter.
When I was a little, little kid, my brother took me to a party, where two guys were talking a lot of shit, playing "hold-me-back" kind of melodrama. He pulled me aside and said "those guys really don't want to fight. They want attention, but they don't want to fight. You need to learn to tell the difference. A fighter isn't going to say anything, he's just going to come up and start fighting. A guy that talks so much? those guys are punkasses. Don't be a punkass."
Shit talking has always been a bitch move, and it cheapens the sport.
