Diego Nightmare Sanchez...does this chump have what it takes to be a champ? Can he outlast GSP like he did Karo? Or is he going to get beat and run away like a chump?

why cant he outwrestle Matt? Diego's wrestling is really good and Hughes is overrated.. still good but it isnt great, and while Diego hasnt shown much in standup.. Hughes has shown to have bad standup, and his submission game isnt on Diegos level.

i think matt has exceptional wrestling skills. He dominated the ww division in the ufc in a way that i can only see gsp or penn doing.
if they fought i would give it to hughes by unanimous. i dont think it would end in a ko or sub

i would still take hughes over deigo, but wouldnt be shocked if deigo won, i dont really see how he could beat penn, he cant knock him out, dont really think he can take him down, and penn i believe is better on the ground, same with gsp and both of them are far superior strikers

I am gonna get flamed for this but oh well...CHAMP.

I just got a feeling about the dude, he has some great cardio and is really developing an all around game. Just watch the Karo fight again, he rolls very well in MMA and has improved his boxing, plus he has an ingredient that many others lack...pure determiniation.

He won't stay undefeated, it will be much like GSP did...he needs a good loss to really amp him and push him over the top. But I will say second shot at the title and he is Champ.

I would take Diego over hughes if they did fight, even though i don't like him too much, i do not think hughes will be the same fighter.

I could be wrong about everything though, i guess that's mma.

I basically agree with Rockx. Diego won't win his first shot at the title, but the loss will turn him into a serious contender. Somewhere down the road I expect him to have a reign as champ.

he's a future champ. he's not GSP, but i think he can beat every other WW minus BJ. he's a future champ
