what the hell are you talking about? and who is the idiot here? why are we UFC fans because we have faith in a very skilled very well rounded fighter from japan. feeling that silva will take the belt is not idiotic in fact it is a very respectable opinion if not prediction! i not only do I respect killerinstinct and raiders18's opinion, but I also agree with it. you should at least respect it
and actually now that I see dana signing respectable fighters and trying to find new contenders, I am more of a UFC fan now than I was before.

Yeah I think nole is the one coming off a bit stupid in this one lol. To say Anderson Silva "couldnt cut it in PRIDE" or to go watch his fights in PRIDE like that proves he's not a good fighter. That's a more foolish statement than thinking people pick him because he got a win in UFC in his debut. I doubt the fact he finally debuted in UFC and won has anything to do with all the up-roar about Anderson here, I think it's more like he dominated the piss out of a solid fighter and usually when someone wins that convincingly people just get a little over-excited. I think Franklin/Silva would be a great fight, hard to pick a winner in that one and I've been saying that well before Silva's debut tonight.
