i knew Silva was bad ,but I expected Leben to last longer than 50 seconds.

Yeah, Silva destroyed him.

It was hard to even call that a fight. Never saw Anderson Silva fight before so I didn't know what to expect. Man, he thrashed Leben.

I knew Leben's chin was tough, but I also knew if Anderson was as superior to him with striking as I thought, that it was only inevitable that Leben would go down at some point. Leben seemed hell bent on going into berzerker mode anytime Silva hit him with his striking, when he should have been shooting even if it was desperately. Seems his ego (for lack of better term) got the best of him. Regardless, I never expected Silva to blast him out that fast.

Franklin will put up a much better fight then Leben did. Franklin and Silva are both world class fighters and will be a great main event. UFC 63 with Hughes/St. Pierre 2 and 64 are going to have some awesome main events if Anderson gets the title shot.

I don't wanna say that just yet. Franklin isn't as stubborn as Leben I don't think if he were to fight Anderson. If things aren't going his way on the feet, I doubt he just makes a mean face and charges in like Leben did. I think he'd go to plan B. Not saying he'd win just by not standing with him, which he might even be able to do, but he certainly wouldn't just stand there and bang just for sake of standing and banging. I really wanna see Franklin/Silva though, always did and now I do even more.
