| Hendo: 'Jones can't stop Evans' takedowns' Hendo: 'Jones can't stop Evans' takedowns' Quote:
"Don't count out Rashad Evans. Everybody's assuming it will be Jones, but Rashad is a good fighter too," Henderson told ESPN.
"Rashad got a lot of criticism for his last performance [against Phil Davis] but I thought he fought really well, really solid. Jon Jones is tough but Rashad could definitely come out winning.
"He will definitely put Jones on his back if he fights like he did against Phil Davis. Rashad's the better wrestler, it's just that Jones is awkward. But Jones wouldn't be able to stop him taking him down for that long."
Asked what problems each man poses, based on their styles, Henderson admits he would expect more of a striking contest if he faced Jones.
"They have two different styles, two different fights. Rashad is good on his feet, good with his striking, and he would definitely try to put me on my back more than Jon Jones would," Hendo said.
"Jones is longer, kicks a little bit more, stays on the outside and is awkward, and that is something I would have to deal with."

“I love that he talks so much crap because the more crap he talks, the sillier he’s going to look when he loses that fight,” said Jones in an interview with the London Free Press. “Rashad’s just a pawn in this game that I’m playing. Nothing more.”

I agree with Hendo. I think Rashad does get some TD's. the real question is can Rashad hold him there

Maybe If it was a wrestling match. Jones will keep his range and make rashad pay if he comes in too close. I think either could take the other down. But Jones' takedowns and TDD are both better than Rashads. He could get Jones down, but it would take a lot to do it. What would happen from there would be the interesting part.
As far as Hendo's wrestling. He would get taken down at will be either Jones or Evans at this point. His back is fucked up for good and his wrestling is a shell of what it used to be. Quote:

It was an analogy to chess, rashad is nothing but a pawn and Jone's fighting career is a like a game of chess to him. If anything, I think that's a very good analogy; he articulated his approach to fighting, and at te same time insulted rashad. It was meant to sound "higher than thou"

How can anyone dislike/hate a fighter for saying something as benign as that?

i agree with you jones' uppity attitude annoys the hell out of me not just rashad if jones is be cemented into the g.o.a.t. list he needs to be humbled by atleast one man and if anderson doent want to do it why not rashad, rashads record in the ufc nevers seems to earn him any respect, yes he's cocky but jones' is cocky like he's got a pic in the espn body issue that people dont cringe at, when is rousey going to save us all.

He seems to take each fight with the upmost seriousness as far as training and preparation is concerned

Jones and GOAT are not even close to being in the same sentence as of now.
He is 15-1 with only a few title defences. No wear CLOSE to being talked about the GOAT yet, maybe one day, but not yet
