Jones vs. JDS is a better superfight than GSP vs. Silva imo. JDS would like this fight to happen sooner. Once Jones is in full swing at HW and has put on some size and great skill by that point, he will roll anybody.

Jon was the one who got sloppy. He wanted to stand with Lyoto. Lyoto's speed caught him off guard. He did land that straight right before the end that was nice. But dont think for a minute that Jones couldnt have took the fight to the ground the second he wanted to. Lyoto has great TDD, but Jones just showed how good his takedowns are.

Agree, Jon doesnt win the fight standing, he could get KTFO that way. But he could keep JDS at bay with his reach and unorthodox style. Jones is very fast though. He may not have the handspeed of JDS but his takedowns, transitions, etc are very quick. He lands takedowns before his opponents even know he is going for one, similar to GSP.
The real question is if JDS can stop JJ's takedowns. If he can he will win the fight standing, but if he cant he will get fucked up with elbows.
Cain, Carwin, Nelson, etc are very strong guys with good takedowns, but Jones's wrestling style is very unique. He is faster than those guys and approaches it in a different way.
How much size does JDS really have on Jones? around 20 pounds? He is shorter and would have a big reach disadvantage.
Jones has great takedowns like I said, 2nd only to GSP in the entire mma game at this point, but JDS has shown phenomenal TDD himself.
