Maybe that you stop trying to pretend that Matt Hughes is the better fighter based on their second fight, when Penn in fact proved the better fighter IN that fight?

That Penn broke his rib IS a cold hard fact. That he had a submission locked on Hughes before the time ran out IS a cold hard fact. It's not like people are pulling this out of their asses. We actually
saw for two rounds who the better fighter was. Matt Hughes has all the props for winning the fight, BUT he has still not proven that he can beat Penn without something like a freak injury occuring. In fact, he was losing the fight and came close to being subbed before the injury.
Saying Hughes won the fight is fine; however, you're full of shit if you try to use that fight to prove he's the better fighter. Again, it's not all about who wins and who loses. Anything can happen in a fight -- the slightest mistake or freak injury and the best MMA fighter could lose to the worst. It's about
how the fight goes down.

Um, did Hughes look to you like he was going to escape that sub? The point is that being saved from defeat by a round ending is LUCK. Matt Hughes didn't make the round end before he tapped with his special round-ending skills that he learned from Pat Miletech.
Again, there's a difference between who won a fight and who proved to be the better fighter. Pointing out why the guy that lost looked like the better fighter is NOT making "excuses." Bringing up conditioning is different, and Penn is far from the only fighter whose conditioning is questioned. Overeem is another one.
