"This fight was different, there were a lot of things new in my camp, I had to surround myself at home and take care of my wife and with the loss in family it was a real tough time, I thought about calling the fight. But I'm glad to overcome that adversity and come out here and perform well. I feel good and he is tough as hell, everyone new this fight was always going to end abruptly either way, the luck just fell in my favors next time it may fall in Alessios."

The story quotes this incident: Brian Stann: Death puts word Quote:
Two days before Christmas my wife lost her little brother, Louie, in a very violent death. He was only 26 years old and it was horribly unexpected. Her mother lives with us and, in order to get them both through this tragedy, I decided to rearrange my whole training camp for my next fight — against Alessio Sakara on April 14 on UFC on FUEL TV — and do things differently. I relocated my camp from Albuquerque and trained from home in Scranton, Pa.
----
my brother-in-law was a big supporter of my career and would have hated for me to either just give up or put the whole thing on hold.
| His brother in law died more than 4 and a half months ago. Although he said he really considered dropping out of the fight....glad he didn't and I would have been confused as fuck if he did.

We hear about the bad in MMA and all the steroid talk. They really need to promote and talk about Brian Stann more. Classy guy. Id like to see him fight Wiedman. I think Munoz would just wrestle him to the ground and grind him out.
