I agree 100%, and I feel "The Crow" is a good gateway fighter, however I do not feel he will ever be a great fighter.

I thought alot of people felt that McDonald would do the same. I thought I was alone here.

The crow needs to let the beast out. His last two fights hes been looking more defensive than offensive. Even his stance at the beginning of the franklin fight showed he didnt wanna engage. When he got desperate at the end of the swick fight in the 3rd round he started being agressive he was really taking it too him, IMO if he fought like that throught the franklin and swick fights he woulda put on a lot better showing.

It almost seems hes fighting without the hunger, if he gets that back im going champ otherwise chump.

No guys I think MacD has a good chance against Ace if he gets to the ground...BUT if Rich comes out gunning..MacD is going to wake up back at the Moose Lodge in Canada.

As for Crow... I think he is going to learn to let that Beast out (well put btp)..and I say he is back and in title contention in the UFC at the end of 08.

I can't see him going to Pride were there are no elbows.

Yea if he gets it to the ground he has a good chance, but thas a pretty big if i dont think he has the wrestling to take rich down, either way im looking forward to this fight

MacDonald is going to get KTFO by Franklin. He was taking way too many shots in the Leben fight, and Franklin's striking is way beyond The Crippler's.

MacDonald's best chance is on the ground obviously, but Franklin is no slouch on the ground.



But in response to the thread.

I don't think that The Crow will ever be champ in the UFC until he stops being so gun shy. Even when he fought Capt. Miserable he wasn't looking very active until that awesome kick to the ribs.
