if dan does win, he can retire, or challenge anderson easily.

as it stands, he's a middleweight who has victories over the two best heavyweights in history, and a who's who of the best of 205 and 185.

the man can do whatever the hell he wants, and a win over jones would make him the most decorated mma fighter in history, (if he isn't already).

anyway, betting lines haven't come out yet, but i'd be willing to say that jones will be 3 1/2 to 1 or so, or that hendo will be valued slightly lower than rashad.

His resume would be absolutely AMAZING for sure, however much like Randy Couture, I just have more than a few hinky suspicions of the legitimacy of their "twilight years" greatness.

I draw parallels with an aging pitcher, who by all accounts should've thrown their arm out years ago or at least been on their downside as they are nearing the onset of middle-age, yet continue their excellent output without losing their speed. Just makes me go hmmmm.

Winning streaks are overrated. Some of the best we all love have losses. Not everyone will solely look at the win/loss column but instead remember the moments of each war. GOAT is as subjective as P4P. There is never a true answer to the question, the only answer that will be received is each fan or critic's individual perspectives and reasonings NEVER will there be an absolute answer.

Some say Fedor top their list.

We all know jones it tough. hendo is the ONLY PERSON in a sanctioned fight to put fedor out, even if it was only momentarily. his losses before that he was subbed and beaten so he couldnt see, but hendo actually put him out for a brief second. I am not a fedor nut hugger but he is one tough dude. "If" jones gets tagged it might be over.

Why are you even entertaining this idea knowing Henderson at best only has a punchers chance? Hell I even question if Henderson could beat Rashad let alone Bader and as epic as his fight was with Shogun he still barely made it out alive without a defibrillator.

If you read the title it says "IF" Hendo beats Jones. Most people, including myself expect Jones to beat Hendo.

But how can you say Hendo has a punchers chance and thats it? We are talking about a guy who has beaten some of the best fighters around. Shogun, Wandy, Fedor, Big Nog, Franklin, Bisping, Sobral, Palhares and so on and so on. If you do not think Hendo has a legit shot then you honestly know nothing about MMA.
