Diaz reminds me alot of Metta (Artest). Both have made some serious mistakes and are mostly known for those. Both represent where they were raised and are largely a product of that environment. Both are villified beyond what they deserve, but also DO deserve a good amount of the critisism they receive.
Finally, both have good hearts and can be just as generous and caring as they can be selfish.
I bet you if you are in Diaz' inner circle that he would die for you.

Diaz gets a lot of heat, justly, for some of his ridiculous comments and actions

So, I think he deserves to be given the same treatment when he does the opposite
