I wasn't sure if a similar thread was going to be made or not, so I went ahead and created it. Mods, if one is made, please merge.

Awesome card tonight, IMO. There's no fighter I look forward to watching more than Ben Saunders. Brings it every time. And Michael Chandler is a force, can't wait to see how he does against Gono.

It's funny, my buddy offered me tickets to go to this show but I was unable to attend, I just went through the card on the SPIKE.com stream and was really only excited over the Ford/Santos fight.

I firmly believe that Chandler has great potential to become Bellator's "Next Big Thing" in the wake of Hector and possibly even Eddie's departures to the UFC, however I can't say that I was blown away by any degree after he completely destroyed a fighter in Gono who has lost 6 of his last 9 and is far from his prime fighting days.

The LW division as a whole is sincerely deep and Bellator's going to have to get alot more creative in booking Chandler relevant and meaningful bouts looking forward to establish him as a serious champion.

Good night of fights.

Can't believe that heavyweight didn't push the pace more. He was killing him in the stand up.

Baker looked good against Saunders.

At least one of the MU wrestlers that I like is a finisher! I hope he has to face Hawn. I really like Hawn and think he will give him a good fight. Chandler seems like a great prosprect and also a good human being!

I'm super pissed at my boy Killer B. What the hell? He could have one that fight! He relied too much on his guard game and let Baker press him against the cage instead of working on getting underhooks and reversing. He was unable to create any separation for any period of time. No leg kicks. Just a poor game plan. I don't think he would have been able to beat Askren fighting like that......fuck man I really wanted to believe this was his year. He'd be a great champion for Bellator marketing wise......fuck all.....

I think Ben thought that Baker was going to gas like he did in his last fight (which I thought he should have lost)

I am not a fan of Baker, and thought Ben would easily KO or submit or wear him down. Ben wasn't moving enough, wasn't being first enough and I was upset in that first round where he had that triangle and just got too excited. He should have just held him there and maintained position. He slapped that triangle up so quick.....sucks.

Hopefully Bellator doesn't cut him....they probably give him one more try like they did to Dan Hornbuckle.

I was super bummed about Ben Saunder's loss. I am a big fan, a couple tough breaks for him recently. I hope he comes back stronger than ever.

I was also bummed about how fast Gono got finished. Good on Chandler but always sad to see a figher like Gono go down like that.

Ben might start winning more if he quits thinking that a smile is a form of defense.
I just got to the dvr
