They can easily give a top 5 opponent that will stand and bang with him. Like I said before Rich Franklin can fight Bonnar. Quote:

Also for the record Hendo isn't doing shit with Bones either. As a matter of fact I have Hendo getting shutdown just like Rashad and everyone else whose fought Jones.
I wish they would just go ahead and bring the sheep to the wolf and get this fight over with.... its feeding time. Quote:

I seem to recall Randy getting highlight reeled.
And it goes a lil something like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Y6L9kRRWdk

And it goes a lil something like this: Crane Kick Comparison: Ralph Macchio vs Lyoto Machida - YouTube | Randy is a class act who got to fight a good opponent on his way out the door.
Rampage got his title shot, and now he bitches and moans about who he has to face. how can you even compare randy to rampage?
No, rampage will not get a contender because, a focused rampage could win. the UFC will not risk that for 1 fight rampage would get his act together. but the way he fought his last fight, and the one against hammil hell he is probably right in line with a bonnar. hell give him franklin or forrest. although an focused rampage would even struggle with them.
and my bet was on the whole card pickem style. man up and take me up on the offer. we can do 1 ppv or the next couple coming up. any time your ready. until then ill just join in on calling bullshit on most of your post while you keep on trolling.

I disagree more importantly Bonnar isn't on his level skillwise and would likely get KTFO. Put it this way if they fight we can bring back that bet you nagged me about. | I agree that Rampage has made a lot of money for and from the UFC. But at this point it appears from the outside that the relationship has soured. I really don't see that there is any commercial reason for the UFC to particularly consider Rampages wishes. It makes more sense in fact to minimize any risk to their brand, and devalue Rampages as much as possible. Whatever organisation he goes to fight next it's likely to be a competitor of the UFC.
So while the UFC could book him against a top five fighter, there are good reasons why they shouldn't.
I agree that Bonnar could get knocked out by Rampage - much like every opponent he has fought. Page has enough dynamite in his fists to put anyone to sleep. Having said that, Bonnar has a granite chin, and is no stranger to a brawl. While Rampage has a skill advantage in standup and wrestling, Bonnar has the edge in submissions. I actually genuinely believe this is a winnable fight for him. Especially when you consider that Rampage might struggle for motivation against Bonnar, while Bonnar would see this as a career defining opportunity.

| Like the fact that Rampage is 2-3 in his last 5 fights and none of those fights have been impressive from his side. With the exception of Jones kicking his ass, none of those fights were even entertaining.

Honestly I want to see Rampage fight Thiago Silva.
To me he has earned that much considering the work he has put in. A focused Rampage is very deadily but so is a focused Randy who could have easily defeated Machida with his superb wrestling. It was a risky move by the UFC but they had no problem giving him the fight he wanted regardless (imagine if Randy beat Lyoto then retired)....Its the same shit man different smell.
If we are talking about "would have could haves" then Randy could have easily went to StrikeForce or any other UFC competitor to fight Fedor something he has always wanted. Lets be real about this Randy has also had sour relationships with the UFC just like Dan Henderson and Tito Ortiz (just not as sour).
If the UFC is truly in the business of putting on fights the fans want to see then they need to give Page a fight that motivates him. I really don't care if its King Mo, Thiago Silva, Griffin or Shogun.
There is no need for them to scrape at the bottom of the barrel. Thats something Page's hate club want to see. Page needs to have a meaningful fight where he has something to gain even if its just a noteable win that looks good on his resume.
Also let me just say this I am not fond of a company treating their employees like shit just because they want to take charge of their career. Page is the one in the cage having to fight and if he doesn't like his line of opponents he absolutely positively has every right to express his opinion about his lineups. Closed mouths don't get fed.
He a professional fighter not a slave nor a gladiator. This isn't Spartacus.

I agree that Rampage "could" easily beat those guys if he was in top form. It is hard not to see that, at his best he has great hands and wrestling. But we dont know if we will see him Motivated, you just never know. Still an un-motivated, under trained rampage still beats anybody out of the top10 and even some in it.
If he ditches wolfs-lair and gets a legit team behind him and improves his skills and sharpens his tools, instead of regressing like he has, then Ill be confident in him. Quote:

They both have top notch TDD and randy isnt fast coming in. Machida would keeps his distance and fuck him up from the outside and rampage would overpower him and land that big shot.

It was a risky gesture on the part of the UFC because their is a possibility he could have won.

What has Rampage done to warrant getting anything he wants anymore?
NOTHING.

But when Couture was campaigning for the Machida fight, he wasn't simultaneously slamming the UFC on Twitter. His bad blood with the UFC was water under the bridge at that point. For me, that's the key difference.
Look, I'm not saying that Rampage won't get Thiago Silva. I'd enjoy that fight. But I am saying that Rampage is not helping his cause by airing dirty laundry in public. And if the UFC wanted to send him a message about it, there are worse ways than booking his final fight against Stephan Bonnar.
