| Quinton 'Rampage' Jackson: 'I Really Wanna Destroy Forrest' Quinton 'Rampage' Jackson: 'I Really Wanna Destroy Forrest' Quote:
During a recent appearance on HDNet's Inside MMA, Quinton "Rampage" Jackson said that, aside from Mauricio "Shogun" Rua, he would like to take on Forrest Griffin in his last fight with the UFC.
At least Rampage is in the news for something other than his UFC beef (sort of).
"Well, besides Shogun, I really, really wanna pay Forrest back," said Rampage. "Because Forrest was the last guy I took lightly. I just didn't think he could beat me at all and I still don't think he beat me, honestly. If I lose a fight, I'm the first one to say I lost. I seriously don't think he beat me. That fight still haunts me. I really wanna destroy Forrest."

Zuffa will not give Rampage what he desires at this point, therefore his desires are moot from here on out.

Fights with either Shogun, Forest, Thiago and Gustafason makes sense.

Fights with either Shogun, Forest, Thiago and Gustafason makes sense. | True, but also factor spite into your equation. Zuffa will make money from Rampage with whomever he fights. I am sure that, despite how level-headed he is, Lorenzo is offended with every single interview that Rampage gives on how demoralized and unhappy he is with Zuffa employment. Lorenzo will deliberate with his peers to find an opponent who will devalue Rampage's brand as much as possible.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: Bonnar is the man for the job.
Dude lost to Coleman. COLEMAN. You cant devalue Rampages brand any more than that.

When something might seem totally logical... factor in spite, then you can throw that logic right out the window. Ive seen people go at great lengths to do something because of spite. So I dont think Rampage will get to fight who he wants, even if its financially sound for Zuffa.
